Could you look at my blog and tell me if you like it as a marketing tool for my books I’ve written?
excitinganduniquenewbooksforsale.blogspot.com is my blog site. I’ve written some quite clever, cutting-edge things and am trying to market them myself before I show them to a publisher. They’re books that I believe that a select few discerning readers, who appreciate great quality and originality, would love. Could you look at my blog and tell me if you like what I’ve done and if it is likely to result in any sales?

I felt like I was reading a sales pitch, not an interesting summary of a book. I realize that it essentially IS a sales pitch, but it comes off as forced and desperate. Rather than sounding forced, try writing up an interesting summary of each book that would compel me to at least read it. Also, I noticed a few grammatical mistakes which aren’t that big of a deal, but if you’re hoping to have credibility with a publishing house it would probably be best to demonstrate your proofreading abilities.

I’ll skip it. Your entire question just attempts to flatter the reader into reading your blog. We’re not naive or stupid. I’ll assume the blog is the same. You had one paragraph to win me and didn’t.
I doubt the publishers are much different. Do you grease them up in the same way?
