You do realize that no credible university will grant you a PhD online, right. Normally, a PhD would take someone 5-7 years fulltime.

Walden University claims to have an accredited PhD program in Applied Management. It takes 4.5 years to do this online (according to their site). Realize that an online PhD is pretty much an obvious scam. It looks more like a glorified master’s degree without the teaching/research requirements.

Edit: Oh, it seems that this program is only regionally accredited by only one organization. That only speaks to the notion that this is not a “real” PhD.

I’d walk into the banks you’d like to work at and drop off resumes. One can hold a position at a bank and continue education relatively easily.

Also, the accounting field is always in demand ~ no matter what the economy is doing

Yes they will both play it, im not going tor ead all of that… its copy and pasted ^^ try simplifying it to get more opinions, if budget is not a problem get the later model.

also to help you make your own decision:
dual core may be faster but uses more battery (yet you can disable one core in the bios or underclock them to save battery) – batter life may not even matter if your always using it at home or near a powerpoint. video cards also use alot of power.

I never heard of MSFE program but the best thing to do is talk to your councilor or advisor or perhaps the president/dean of the university and see what they have to say. Then take it from there. Good luck.

Just by reading the specs you’ve provided, I can tell you this camera is garbage.
First of all, it doesn’t have 6 megapixels. The word interpolated, which they so conveniently put in parenthesis, means that it has less. The specs don’t say how many megapixels this camera actually has – just that it will create as much padding as it needs to make it seem like 6. It’s like a lazy student handing in a 6 page assignment, when in fact he has 2 pages of text that he double spaced and put in an insanely large font. Heck, if you make the margins a bit bigger and include some gratuitous pages for an index and bibliography, you can turn 2 pages worth of text into a 10 page report. With cameras, that called interpolation.
Also, this camera only has digital zoom. Digital zoom is bad for image quality. Reputable brands offer digital zoom as a gimmick, on top of optical zoom. Optical zoom is the good kind.
And if you can’t find reviews for a camera, that’s another bad sign.
Stick to name brands like Canon, Olympus, Panasonic, etc. If you’re shopping and you see something you like, here are two great review sites:

So i’m still a Junior in High School but i’m great with computers, specifically multi-media. I have a job interview tomorrow for a graphic design position at a local screen printing place. They already know i’m a student and that i come highly recommended by the Computer Applications Multi-Media teacher.

I think i would feel very odd dressing up because thats just not how my personality works. I’m not totally opposed to the idea but i’m not sure if it would portray the “Cute little high schooler who wants to be all grown up” or not.

On the other hand if i go in jeans and a T-shirt I may come off as lazy and unmotivated.

Any recommendations?

was looking at several web design jobs (i have an associates in multi media) with 2 years experience and now all the sudden these web design jobs require 3-5 years experience and a BS in web design!

the worst part is that you apply online and no one actually looks at your resume or portfolio. if you dont meet all the check marks your are automatically disqualified.

when you go to the actual location of the job all you get is “yeah yeah just go online and apply…. thanks have a nice day”

ok this turned into more of a rant but seriously as i look over jobs online i see jobs that pay as low as an hour *must have BS in ______*

or others that pay between 30-40k a year. so i want to know, do all you people with your 4 year degree and 3-5 years working in your field really only make 30-40k? also if you just graduated and have 0 time in the field how do you go about getting work? i mean if you need 3-5 years time working to make 30k what do you get paid out of school? no wonder people cant pay back their student loans! 45k in loans and you grad making 20k lol.

One of the main reasons is that we are in a recession with much higher unemployment. Thus, you have few openings for jobs and a glut of qualified people applying. Much like anything else, the job market works on supply and demand – now you have little demand and a lot of supply, so the many are fighting over the few and lowering their salary requirements. Employers are taking advantage of this by lowering offers.

One indicator of this is that 2009 college grads have only a 20% employment rate in their chosen fields – the remaining 80% are either working out of their field, unemployed or have decided to continue schooling.
