Blog Marketing Question?

I have a new blog that I want to promote one specific web site…..

http://blog.iap-home.com/index.asp ( New Blog )
www iap-home.com ( web site )

To better promote blog and give it high page rank, which in return will help promote my web site iap-home.com … do I put a link of my blog on my other web sites for example
www.iapsales.com and www.iapcooling.com
I have 15 web sites I could do this to it
Or should I just submit it to other directories
